This year’s celebration, October 1-9, 2011, marks the events 40th Anniversary and to celebrate the New Mexico Tourism Department has teamed up with Scott Appelman of Rainbow Ryders to give the winner of the “Ride the Centennial Balloon Sweepstakes” a balloon ride for two aboard the official New Mexico Centennial Balloon, which makes its inaugural appearance at Balloon Fiesta. The winner will also enjoy free parking and free entry passes for two into Balloon Fiesta Park, located north of Alameda Boulevard, one mile west of I-25.
Please Note: This sweepstakes is valid only for the 2011 International Balloon Fiesta taking place in Albuquerque New Mexico from October 1st through October 9th 2011, the winner must be present to accept and use this prize. The dates available for the ride are Wednesday (October 4), Thursday (October 5) and Sunday (October 9). If you are not available on one of these days, please do not enter the sweepstakes.
Scott Appelman of Rainbow Ryders is a Founding Sponsor of the New Mexico Statehood Centennial celebration 1912-2012 by donating the official New Mexico Centennial hot air balloon, which will be used to identify and promote the Centennial of New Mexico’s statehood over the next two years. Rainbow Ryders is the authorized hot air balloon company for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
