Maps and Driving Directions to the Quemado Office
From Albuquerque: An easy two and a half-hour drive. Take I-40 west to exit 89 and go left (south) onto Highway 117 to Quemado. Turn left (south) onto State Highway 36 for another 22 miles and The Hitching Post Land Co. office will be on your left, just short of the intersection of highways 60 and 36.
From Phoenix: Take Highway 60 through Globe, Showlow and Springerville and continue east to Quemado. Or, you may choose to go Highway 87 through Payson and proceed on Highway 260 to Show Low, then take Highway 60 to Springerville and east to Quemado. Once you arrive in town, look for theHitching Post Land Co. sign on the north side of the highway.
